Hear From Our Cora Community

Just finishing my first cycle with my Cora Cup, and it was surprisingly easy to get used to. I like the "petal fold" personally, and it only took me a day to get the hang of it.

Meaghan M

Honestly, I love this company and their cup is no different. Their large cup is a little smaller than others, but it works just as well and has a handy imprint to help folding go smoother.

Sam B.

Super easy to use and doesn't leak, plus you don't feel it when you're wearing it! I was intimidated at first but now I will never use anything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which size cup is right for me?

While most women can comfortably wear either size of the cup, we want you to find the best fit for your body and flow. Size 1 (small - 22 mL) is best if you have not given birth and you do not have light bladder leaks. Size 2 (medium - 29 mL) is best for those who've given birth or have light bladder leaks. When in doubt, opt for Size 1, and if for any reason you aren’t happy with the product or the fit, please reach out to us and we’ll make it right. For additional information on how to use a menstrual cup, visit Blood & Milk.

How do I clean my Cora Cup?

When washing your cup, we recommend using the Cora Cup Cleanse, which is pH balanced and free of dyes and fragrances. If you don't have pH-balanced soap, you can wash it with mild, fragrance-free soap. Sterilize your cup by boiling it at the end of every cycle. Ensure that the cup's air holes are always clean and open. Store your cup in the container provided, stem up. If your cup is stored when wet, keep the container open so it remains breathable. Because the Cora Cup isn't dyed with synthetic colors, you may observe color changes over time. For additional information on how to clean your menstrual cup, visit Blood & Milk.

How much fluid does the Cora Cup hold?

Size 1 holds 22 mL of liquid, which is about 2-3 regular tampons.
Size 2 holds 29 mL of liquid, which is about 3-4 regular tampons.
For reference, a regular tampon absorbs roughly 6-9 mL (per FDA).

Can I return my Cora Cup?

The Cora Cup has a perfect fit guarantee. If for any reason you are not completely delighted by your cup or the fit, we'll make it right. Reach out to us here.

How long can I wear my Cora Cup?

You can wear your Cora Cup for up to 12 hours, emptying it twice a day or as frequently as needed.

How long will my Cora Cup last, and when do I need to replace it?

The Cora Cup can last 10 years, but you should replace it if you see any tears or holes.

What is the Cora Cup made out of?

The Cora Cup is made in the USA with medical grade silicone, and is made without BPA.

Clean + Store

For best results, wash your cup with pH-balanced Cora Cup Cleanse or pH-balanced soap to avoid irritation. If you don’t have a pH-balanced soap, you can use mild, fragrance-free soap instead.

Check to be sure the air holes are clean and open.

Store your cup in a cotton carry bag or storage case. Keep in a cool dry place.

Choosing Cup vs. Disc

The Cora Disc and Cora Cup have a lot in common- choosing between the two is up to you. Here are a few key distinctions:

Ability to fold different ways offers elevated comfort and fit.
Empty on your own schedule, by pinching the base and pulling to remove.
Uses suction to seal.

oSelf-empties while using the bathroom.

oSits at the base of your cervix.
oMoves comfortably with your body during exercise such as swimming or running.
oCollects blood vs. absorbing it, reducing dryness and irritation.
