How much blood do your sleep shorts absorb?
Our Sleep Shorts absorb about 71 mL (roughly the amount held by 6-10 regular tampons) of blood. However, absorption is affected by many things, including your menstrual flow, position (sitting, standing, moving) and activity.
Do they shrink?
If cared for as directed, your underwear will not shrink. We suggest rinsing in cold water, machine washing on the cold/delicate cycle, and line drying or laying flat.
I have heard that some garments and textiles contain PFAS. Does your underwear contain PFAS?
Cora period underwear is made without PFAS and is Standard 100 certified by Oeko-Tex. We also test each lot using an independent, accredited third party lab in the USA. The test showed that there are no PFAS/PFOA compounds at any detectable level.
