I have never felt so clean. Pads + period underwear has me so comfortable I almost forget I'm on my period. Life changing.
The fabric feels really soft and the style is super cute—it just looks like normal bikini underwear. I can barely feel it when I'm wearing it.
These are, hands down, the BEST I own. No other brand I have wicks away the moisture like these.I just came on here to order 5 more pairs.
How much blood does your Period Underwear absorb?
Our Period Underwear absorbs about 25 mL (roughly the amount held by 3-4 regular tampons) of menstrual fluid. However, absorption is affected by many things, including your menstrual flow, position (sitting, standing, moving), and activity.
We recommend you use Period Underwear in the way that works best for you, which might require some trial and error. Some women prefer to wear period underwear as a back-up to other period care products, like pads, tampons, liners, or cup.
When should I wear Period Underwear?
Our Period Underwear can be worn as a replacement for your standard underwear. The absorbent gusset in our underwear provides protection against leaks, similar to a pad or liner. You can choose to wear Period Underwear as back-up protection with other feminine care products (tampons, cup, pad, etc.) or wear the underwear alone. You can wear Period Underwear during the day, overnight, or while being active.
How can I switch to period underwear for the first time?
Period Underwear is a great addition to your period care routine. To start, we suggest you try it on a lighter flow day or as a back-up method for other period care products. Some women start by using period underwear as a replacement for a liner. Other women choose to use period underwear while sleeping (with pads) to provide additional leak-protection. Women with very irregular or unpredictable cycles might choose to wear period underwear daily!
How does the gusset in Period Underwear work?
Each pair of underwear has a “gusset” with a four-layer absorbent core designed to pull up to three tampons’ worth of liquid away from the body and create secure leak protection. On a pair of medium-sized period underwear, this gusset spans the panel of fabric between the legs and approximately 2.5” additional inches up the back. It's made from 91% polyester and 9% elastane. It's similar to fleece and highly absorbent.
